Just sitting there

(click to enlarge)

Location: Sinsheim Technical Museum, about 20 km outside Heidelberg, shot from outside. That's an original Concorde and a Soviet Tu-144 there, the two only supersonic commercial aircraft designs. The museum recently bought one specimen of the Russian version of the Shuttle recently, btw.

yup, i was walking through a field by the Museum ^^;

well, that's sort of the backside of the museum. it looks better from the front lol. even though on the other side is the A6 highway...

you can actually enter those two aircraft as a visitor and walk around in them btw.

the museum specializes in cars, technology stuff, aircraft. couple locomotives and such too, but that's about it. lots of WW2 stuff too, tanks and such. there's an IMAX theater that's part of the museum too.

Actually, the museum has a problem - it's too small, with all that stuff. So they built a second "branch" in another city, where they have more stuff... like a real submarine. And they bought a real Russian Space Shuttle for their exhibit a couple years ago, but still have some legal problems with that.
