Location: Worms. Google says it's a statue of Hagen from the old German Nibelungen saga, depicting him as he throws the Nibelungen treasure into the Rhine (...which is where the statue is). Erected in 1905. See also this link.

LOL i thought that was Odysseus or someone and then realized, "umm wrong country.. XD" anyway, sinking of the treasures eh @_@; looks more like flinging it in for sport, judging by the posture of Hagen. unless that's the same thing. sinking/dumping. haha... okay, i'm extremely zoned out! ^__^;
Worms (and a couple other towns and cities in the area) is pretty much riding on the Nibelungen Saga for tourism lol.
Cuz the stuff in that old story (written in the 10th century) take place in Worms and the surrounding area of course.
