(click to enlarge)Location: Worms Cathedral. Built 1130 to 1181 - and that was the third cathedral in the same place, with the first one built some 500 years earlier.
Probably the most important church for the Christian-Protestant world, as this is where Luther officially split from the Catholic church.

gorgeous!!!! those modern lamps are really pretty but sorta clashing with the structure. lol either way, it looks like the sort of place i'd want to visit around christmas! what a beautiful building.. T_T
