Heidelberg's building a new suburb. The area being built over had several thousand lizards living in it, so the city had to build replacement quarters for them. This is one of two "mass settlements", with this one housing some 500 relocated lizards.

Are they those little Mauereidechsen? I love those things!
Yep, Mauereidechsen and Zauneidechsen - two separate populations that don't really intermix. The Zauneidechsen get wood piles instead of walls.
