a simple yet totally effective design which stands out! i wish i lived in a house like this and that would be my inner yard. XD;; what do they use the piloty building for?
i wonder what is up with that solitary little tree thing? maybe the students planted it and it has some special meaning? ^^
the entire area used to be a ... jungle before. trees and bushes everywhere.
the piloty building holds (almost) the entire CompScience department.
like, lots of offices and labs for the department, plus two small (100ppl) and one large (250ppl) auditorium. and about a dozen rooms for like tutorials and seminars. there's also a small cafeteria in there, on the second and third floor. and a library.
and the labs where they train our soccer robots for the next world cup ^^;;; (they won 2006 and 2007! yay!)
