Takeoff

Typical 70s
(click to enlarge)Back in the 70s, the cities in this region started building highways like this one between their suburbs. Nowadays, most are empty just like here. This was taken at 4:30 pm, start of the rush hour.

Crossing
(click to enlarge)The metal-caged walkway over the Wieblingen locks serves as a regular shortcut across the Neckar from Neuenheimer Feld campus. Though i don't really like how you can see the river 20 ft below through the planking.
